Customer Challenge
Accurate time and attendance is vital at Naturana because the admin department depends on accurate information for wage calculations
Naturana previously used an old Blick system but this was proving insufficient in coping with the demands of the current working patterns. Naturana wanted to implement a new time and attendance
solution that would accurately monitor employee working patterns.
Not only that, Naturana sought to invest in an access control system to control a secure door. This would be used by the company to improve the health and safety of staff as they would be able to
accurately identify which staff are on site at all times.
The Business Solution
Naturana replaced their existing time and attendance system with a newer and more efficient magstripe solution that is capable of accurately recording the attendance of their staff.
The key selection criteria for purchasing a new magstripe solution were that the system was cost
effective, reliable, efficient and easy to use on a day-to-day basis by the 30 employees at the company.
By integrating the terminals with Auto:Time Premium software, key personnel information such as contact details, holidays and sickness records can be stored in a central, easily accessible location.
Naturana now has one person controlling the system and another person to cover Holidays and staff absences. Automation of the clocking via the magstripe terminals makes the initial time recording simple, with no real chance of errors. Once the data has been reviewed the records are stored centrally
and are available to reassess whenever necessary.
When it comes to handling the payroll, managers can quickly check each individual record to clarify the hours worked by each individual.As a result employees can be confident that they will be paid for the hours they have worked.
Auto Time also implemented the Access Control module on the software to control a secure door. This
has not only improved the security as well as the health and safety measures at the company but helps with staff comings and goings at lunchtimes and cigarette breaks. The staff use the same card to enterthe building as they do to clock in & out.
